Since I still haven’t updated my ‘About Me‘ page, I had this bright or not-so-bright idea to share some facts about me.
I appreciate reading other people’s; it’s obviously the curiosity in me and the possibility of learning something new and unusual; although I can’t lie, to share mine does feel slightly cringe, eek!
I’ve tried to keep it lighthearted, and feel free to answer some of them yourself; it can be used as a great icebreaker, Enjoy!

The meaning behind my username
*About my first Blog Name, which I changed recently to A Twist of Fate.
For anyone who may not know, My Bitchy Resting Face is;
Resting bitch face, also known as RBF, or bitchy resting face (BRF), is a facial expression that unintentionally appears like a person is angry, annoyed, irritated, or contemptuous, particularly when the individual is relaxed, resting, or not expressing any particular emotion.
When I first came across the meaning of this phrase, it instantly resonated with me, as the most common remarks from friends growing up; would be their recount of the first time they saw me and how I looked, completely unapproachable and mean, when in fact I am the opposite of those things (most of the time), It’s just my resting face.

12. Day or Night
There is something mystical about mornings, especially when the sun starts to rise and the sounds of the city gradually awaken, but the night hours for me are the ones where I come alive with ideas and most inspired to write, so I am leaning more towards night, although, as I get older I am enjoying my mornings more…. why is it so difficult for me to give a straight answer?!

14. What lockdown lifestyle taught you?
There were many things lockdown taught me: The importance of Rest; whether it was having a nap in the day, doing a bit of yoga, going for a walk or quietly having tea on the balcony, it all benefited my mental and physical well-being. It also reignited my joy of baking and recreating childhood cakes, which my Mum would make for my sister and me on our Birthdays, but the biggest lesson was Gratitude; not to say I was an ungrateful person before; it was just a stark reminder that even in the chaos of the unknown and feeling at times like I had no grip on my life with the things I was going through, I was still so bloody grateful for it all and the warmth of family and friends near and far.
