For the longest time, I had not been properly treating my hair (for reference I have type 3C hair) my curls were lifeless, the ends were dead, my scalp was always dry and itchy, it was a thing that did lead me to cut quite a lot of my hair off during lockdown last year; It was during this time I was in my local pharmacy when I came across this brand with two scalp treatment products the formula looked good and I thought what the hell I’ll give it a go and now I’m seemingly on my fourth tub of the stuff…I only wish they offered a larger size for my big head!
The Tinkerberry Spiced Apple Scalp Detox is part of my Locally Made Edit Series, I have been using this product for over 6 months, now I can’t sit here and say it has completely rid me of my dry scalp because let’s be real there are other factors at play here i.e. mostly me and my lazy self-care hair ways, with that said this has unquestionably been a game-changer to my wash routine I have seen noticeable improvements, my scalp is a lot less itchy and dry even the texture and the shininess plus by adding this step to my weekly wash routine I only need to do one shampoo rinse since the scalp detox does the main job of removing build-up from the week.

How To Use
1. I mix 4 tbsp of Scalp Detox with 1 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar.
2. I part my hair into sections then apply the mixture directly on to dry scalp using an applicator brush.
3. Massage well and cover with a shower cap.
4. After 30 mins to 2hrs, shampoo and condition as usual.
5. Use once a week.
Tips
✯Always use a clean, dry spoon to scoop out the masque.
✯Not essential; I like to wear my Thermal Heat Cap over the shower cap for added heat to lift the hair follicle.
✯Massage shampoo onto the scalp first before wetting hair; I find it works better when washing out the masque.
