My Best Nine 2022

2022, certainly looked and felt entirely different to 2020 and 2021, although, like any other year, there are going to be; ups and downs, highs and lows, and we somehow pull through it all.

2022, there were a couple of recurring topics which usually reveal themselves to me towards the end of the year; community and grace. Grace: attempting to show more compassion towards myself, especially in times of frustration with my low energy levels, when all I want to do is finish a project, update my blog, or go for a walk, I can be massively hard on myself, it is a continuous work in progress trying to find the balance between giving myself a Lil extra TLC and needing an enormous rocket up my arse. Community: I had close friends of mine from London visit in the year, and we had the most awesomeness time together making memories and having those long late-night chats about anything and everything; I realised as much as I lurve my solo self, I am very much lacking in the tribal community spirit, which I think is one topic we probably don’t speak enough about; making solid connections/friendships in your late 30s and 40s. Something to delve into more this year, maybe?

I hope 2022 has been good to you, let 2023 be even brighter and better!
